Hi Roy, thanks for dropping by. I think I know what you mean. But I was given the address on the phone as "Osaka-shi" and I was like..."is that in Osaka?" And the person on the other side said ..."Yes, Osaka-shi, Osaka..." So I looked it up to see where it is in Osaka and found this site: Osaka-shi.
I am now researching and planning the trip even though I won't know if we'll actually get a date at HP in Osaka until Monday.
I don't know the full address yet but I am hoping it would be at Kita-Ku (北区) near Umeda (梅田) and not Chuo-Ku (中区) which seems likely. :-(
3 回應:
大阪 is not a 市 but is a 府 so you say 大阪府
市 or 区 is used to designate smaller cities with the metropolis
other exceptions
東京都
京都府
北海道
everything else is a "ken"
神奈川県
長野県
etc..

Oh Yeah, that's right. There is an Osaka-shi in Osaka-fu.
Why are you visiting Osaka? Work? How long will you be here? Are you going to come to Tokyo?
