死ぬ前に見るべき1000の場所

Last Sunday, I went to Borders to check out some travel books in preparation for my trip in December. I came across the book above and flipped through it. There are some good suggestions in there and some surprises as well. I also wrote down a list of all the places I have been and unfortunately, it's not even 100 out of the 1000 places. There are cities I have been but not the places that were mentioned, so definitely some surprises. But on the other hand, it's good to know that there are still plenty of places to visit like Spain which is extensively covered.

I also scanned through these 2 books which update me with the nice places in Hong Kong. Most of them did not exist when I was there in 2000, at least not to my knowledge (except maybe Felix which has been around). So it's a handy book to see where these places are with the map index at the very end of the book.
