Our neighbor building on work campus on a cold winter night back in December, 2009. The fountain no longer has water to save on operating costs. Only the buildings receiving foreign visitors still have an operating fountain...

Making faces

She fell and got a bloody cut on her cheek the other day at school which took more than a week to heal. She will do this with her lips whenever we need to wipe her face. Is that her way to protect the wound from being messed with?

No Ambiguity

This little girl knows exactly what she likes and what she doesn't and she is very quick to let you know, even though she can't speak yet.

This picture was taken at Pier 39 near the Fisherman's Wharf. She smiled and pointed at this bench so we sat her down to take a picture. But there she started screaming within split second to complain that we were just supposed to look at what she was pointing at and not make her a part of it. Hehe!! We got it, but still decided to make her take a picture.

I designed this chair for my daughter so she has something low to sit on. She actually loves diving into it more than sitting on it before going to sleep.

今日はほんとに寒い朝でした。
そして、久々にパンを焼いてみました。

レーズンとペカン（ナッツ）を生地の半分に入れた。

30分後｛じかんご｝に...焼きたてのパンは完成｛かんせい｝した!

ヘルシーでおいしくて作るのも簡単ですよ。

１歳の誕生日

I was expecting her to do the "cup cake dive" with her bare hands or even toss the cake around, but interestingly she only wanted to tackle it with a fork! I guess she is really a 1 year old now! Congrats! :)

速いクローラー

I don't have time to put together a photo album for my daughter so this is basically my photo album of her. Someone once told me picture clarity is secondary. The most important thing is the composition. I think I agree. Some of the more interesting pics are from the lomo and pola cameras. And in this case, a wrong setting. :)

今日保育園で万聖節の絵を描きました。
カボチャ色の顔料は服の袖に染みがある...
でも、水溶性なので、大丈夫ですよ。

This little girl was very happy while waiting for her school picture to be taken. But unfortunately, she was scared when it was her turn and started to cry. No successful pictures were taken. :-(
Oh, well... maybe next year.
