花粉症

花粉症 = kafunshou = hay fever = allergy to pollen

花粉症（かふんしょう）とは、植物の花粉が鼻や目、のどの粘膜に接触することで引き起こされる1型アレルギー症状のこと。
Kafunshou towa shokubutsu no kafun ga bi ya me nodo no nenmaku ni seeshoku suru koto de hikiokosareru ichi kata arerugii shoujou no koto.

Hay fever is caused by pollen from plants in contact with the mucus membrance of the nose, eyes and throat causing the Type 1 allergy symptoms.

現在日本人の2割が花粉症であると言われる。
Genzai nihonjin no ni katsu ga kafunshou de aru to iwareru.

Nowadays, it is said that half of the Japanese people have hay fever.
