で,......で,.....
While in Japan, I can't help hearing people talking to each other in the train or in the restaurant or in the coffee shop. I will always hear "......で (pause) .......で(pause)...." and I would wonder what sentence structure is this...?? How come it is so common...?

Yes,[･･･で] is in common use.
As for me, always use it.
それで･･･
これで･･･
あれで･･･
なんで･･･
I had a read at "Answer".
So, I think that you understood about "De".
but, it is different meaning a little, particularly in Osaka Kansai.
Because, it is dialect.
(It is one of a turn of phrase.)
For example,
dialect /standard /(english)
そうやで(souya[de])
/ そうです(soudesu)
/(yes,it is. That's right.)
ちがうで(thigau[de])
/ちがいます(thigai masu)
/(No,it is not.)
いらんで（iran[de])
/いらない＝必要ない（ira nai=hithuyou nai)
/ (I don't need it)
etc...

Despite some bad hotel arrangement towards the end, I had a wonderful trip. I got my very stressful work done earlier than expected and was able to enjoy the city. Upon returning home to the US, I was experiencing some sort of a depression and did not go out for 3 days. I am now back on feet... unwillingly. :-P
Oh, by the way, my trip in the end was to Tokyo...but I plan to visit Osaka sometime in the future. I love people from Kansai!!
