御宅
In Asia (outside of Japan) these days, after watching 日本の人気ドラマ「電車男」, people enjoy being viewed by others as part of the「御宅族」just because they use a computer at work or blog at home or own more than 1 computer.
But here is how an ordinary household looks like at where I live (;-p)
*現在聞いている曲:
Vanessa Paradis - Chat Ananas
(彼女が Johnny Depp の子供の母であることを知っているんでしょうか?)
Reminder to myself:
Never say "Huh?" at a work meeting when you meant "excuse me?". Someone did that today and it sounded really unprofessional and dumb.

I say that in the meeting many times. Now I know why i get such looks! :)
Even I occasionally say that.
I usually only say it when I am annoyed at work. But today someone did that in front of a group of people, it sounded very unacceptable. And for the first time, I realize how others feel... hence the reminder...
