This is something I need to remember to stock in my kitchen! So useful!!

Updates:
I am going to limit the use of this in our household from now on. When I added 2 packets in our big pot of Shabu-shabu soup base the other night, it was fine and tasted really good. But when I added 1 packet of it in the 茶碗蒸し with 2 eggs, green onions, some mushrooms... it also tasted great but we woke us up in the middle of the night with really dry throat and a bitter taste in the mouth. It is the classic side-effect of too much 味の素/だし/MSG...

The greenish stuff you see on the chicken is actually the herbs and butter stuffed under the chicken skin! :)

These have always been my favorite cookies and it has been a while since I last made them. Last year, people at work really enjoyed them and I had pictures to prove (not posted though). But this year, I am going to go with the marble style instead of the equal swirl and I am going to add almond powder to the butter dough and add a little more sugar to the cocoa dough.

Too bad my little girl can not eat cookies yet, we'll just have to eat them all. :-)

Saw this movie tonight. This is such a strange, interesting yet beautifully filmed movie. Check it out if you can. Watch it on big screen. I like the actress a lot after this movie. She is very likable despite her non-stop smoking character...

This was dinner tonight...

Steam the brocolli and then drain it
Chop up some greens and stir fry it with a little garlic, oil and a pinch of salt
Stir-fry beef with onion, mushroom and little chopped garlic with a little ponzu
Add hikiwari natto in the middle and top all of these over a bowl of steaming hot rice!

15 minutes later...
