Junk Food Central?

ごぶさたしております!
I have been busy at work as the first phase of the project is coming to an end this month. Also a few house projects to finish up which entail getting rid of stuff, reorganizing, painting, replacing old stuff with new and installing new stuff.

On the other hand, it's my conscious effort to gain steady weight since the last month and I think I am now at a desirable weight.

Thanks to all the crazy sweet stuff I added to my usually healthy diet.
1. Home-made Flan / プリン
2. Ice Cream Drumstick
3. Pepperidge Farm Dark Chocolate Chunks Cookies

4. Dark Chocolate Snickers
5. Homemade Sweet Potato Soup
6. Homemade Red Bean Soup
7. Ciao Bella Gelato
8. Chinese Moon Cake (made of sweet Lotus Seed Paste)

I am actually a fan of anything potato: baked, mashed, salad, fries, wedges, tots, croquettes, yaki-imo....etc. Recently, I found something called 大学イモ, it's sugar-coated deep fried sweet potatoes! Though I would love to have a piece, I am pretty sure I am not going to try to make it at home ... it just seems so bad for you.

Now that I have gained the desired 30lbs, I will cut down on this crazy sugar intake to avoid becoming diabetic!!

This is my favorite fruit right now which is in season. They called it Korean Pear here (or Asian Pear). It can be a bit expensive as it is very sweet and heavy with lot of juice. It's around US$2.50 or more each. We have already had about $32.00 worth of pears and plan to get more later after work. Get some while you can.
