I love to watch Tanaka Rena maybe because her look resembles a cute little kitten to me. This movie is quite interesting. I think most people will find it very slow and boring, but I really enjoyed it. I like the story line and the interactions between the 2 main characters. It's a must see! :)

『おくりびと』

やっと見られた! It's a wonderful, heart-warming movie. I disagree with New York Times' review saying "one would wish for a fast-forward button to confirm what they already predicted." This movie is not about predicting what is going to happen next, but rather to experience the love and tenderness of human relationships and the emotions associated with deaths.

Anyway, I am a fan of 山崎努. Only he can play the characters he played in all those dramas and movies. 本木雅弘 and 広末涼子 are also good actors that I like to watch, so all in all, a great movie!

Interesting book, but don't buy it... Just read the excerpts online.

To me, I think kids learn by watching their parents and a good, stable family life set the tone and influence their personality. So if the parents have good habits and the kids are happy, then they are more likely to become successful in general.

I've stopped watching SNL since...I have lost track of when. But recently saw this rare funny skit with Justin Timberlake. He is not bad with his accent and the part where he's referring to Britney Spears. Enjoy.

The other day, we went to eat the same thing in Palo Alto and the bill was close to $80.00! The difference? The place in Palo Alto is fancier with table cloth, chandelier and all. And oh yes, it was visited by Bill Clinton when Chelsea was attending Stanford University.
