I saw this today and could not understand why it says "to wipe the bed with the mop". Then I found out the Japanese definition for 床 (ゆか) is the floor, not the bed like in Chinese.

Here is a chair/chaise/lounger that I would like to own. :-)

This sentence was confusing when I read it before this post:
彼は私と同じ床で働いています。
He and I work on the same floor (not the same bed).

* I was talking to a friend who recommended that I pick up a few of his books to read. 村上春樹 has gained popularity in several Asian countries a few years back when my sister was still working in Hong Kong and sent me a few of his books in Chinese. (I just moved so I don't know where they are now). Then she got married and her husband has a few of his books in Japanese which I saw inside their glass bookshelves. Then this new friend of mine also mentioned this novelist... So I did a search on the web about him.

* I found this very interesting site lately. It not only allows me to stay in touch with what is happening in Hong Kong but also let me see things that I have never pay attention to. Great site to read while I try to learn Japanese! :-)
